This is important, vital even, because from a positive state of mind, you are more likely to find solutions to your problems and identify ways to overcome challenges. Further to this, a positive state of mind makes you more appealing to others. Connection to humans is important for our souls and also for growth in various areas of our lives. Being a person that people want to connect with and engage with starts with your positive mindset. If you make an effort to inspire through your positivity, you will find that your network will grow and people will be more open to helping you and even connecting you to opportunities.

Find and focus on 5 little things that made you smile today. (if you can’t find 5, find 4 or 3 or 2 or even 1, start somewhere).
Five things that brought you some level of happiness.
Keep it small.
We often have the notion that to be happy and feel positive, everything needs to be going our way, everything needs to be perfect. But, it does not have to be that way. Find happiness in the small things. This will feed your positive mindset and in turn, will bring you more to be happy about.
Once you get this kick-started, you will see that the pace at which you shift into a positive state will increase. It will become easier and as you create habits that contribute to your positive mindset, positivity will soon become the norm in your life.
Happiness comes from aligning what you do to who you are.
