Career decisions are rarely about the job alone. You may be trying to work out whether the problem is the role, the organisation, the manager, the culture, the career path, or the season of life you are in.

At the same time you are weighing ambition against income, security, identity, family responsibilities and everything you have already built. Once those questions tangle together, thinking harder stops helping.

Your next move may be to stay, to reshape your current role, to pursue progression differently, or to begin a measured transition. The programme helps you examine those options properly before you commit.

Why Usha?

Usha Maharaj CA(SA) is an executive coach, leadership strategist and non-executive director, with senior business and board experience and years of developing professional women through coaching and the Leadership Evolution Masterclass Series, SAICA’s flagship women’s leadership programme.

She knows a major career decision is rarely only about work. As a mother of two, she became a director in a Big Four audit firm, then chose to leave that role and build her own business. At those crossroads and others, she has had to weigh ambition, family, identity, security and the life she wanted to build.

Two live sessions of about 90 minutes, plus roughly an hour a week of guided work. It is built for people who are already working full days.

Both sessions are recorded and shared. The group work and WhatsApp support carry on regardless.

Neither exactly. It is a guided decision process, run in a small group, with structured tools and Usha’s direct input.

Yes. Staying is a legitimate outcome, and a considered decision to stay is very different from staying because the alternative was unclear.

You will receive a link to process payment via a secure Payfast payment gateway. Payfast is a safe, secure and recognised payment gateway. You may contact us should you wish to process payment via an EFT directly into our bank account. 

A behavioural profile that shows how you naturally work best. It gives you evidence about your own patterns, rather than another opinion about what you should do.

Select the alumnae fee when you register and tell us your LEMS year. You will need your existing Contribution Compass report – request a copy if you don’t have it on hand.

Yes. Select employer billing at registration and you will receive a tax invoice.
