Don’t sacrifice your life for work

Don’t sacrifice your life for work

In Article, Performance, Success & Mindset Reset by admin

Employees are programmed to give their lives to work, only to live in blame and regret when they wake up to realise they have given their lives to work.

Life, my friend, is for living. Giving your best to work is a part of living well.... giving your life to work is not.

Sacrificing your life for work is not the same as high performance. I am a huge supporter, voice for, enabler of the latter and the first to tell you, if you are sacrificing your life for work, you will wake up one day to regret it.

Pause and reflect on your life. Remember work is a meaningful, essential, fulfilling part of life; work is not life.

Maybe you needed to read this today?

Maybe it's time to reflect on your journey?

Maybe you need to heal from the blame and regret?

Maybe you need to disconnect from the noise and discover what living really means to you…

Most people chase success at work, thinking that will make them happy. The truth is that happiness at work will make you successful.
